| Regulation |
At the time of admission, every student shall sign a declaration on the admission form, that he/she will abide by all the rules and regulations of the college and University, and accept the decision of the Principal in all matters as final. |
-
All students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of a citizen in the college community. Such conduct is based on respect for the dignity and rights of individuals, respect for public and personal property and personal and academic honesty. All students are answerable to the Principal for their conduct in the college.
-
For their behavior outside the college, if it adversely affects the image of the college, appropriate action may be taken within the principles of equity and justice.
-
Insubordination and unbecoming language or conducts in any form are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
-
Absence from college must be justified in writing and if illness is the cause, a medical certificate must be submitted.
-
Those who absent themselves from tests or examinations without the written permission of the Principal, make themselves liable to disciplinary action. Such absence must be justified in writing and, in the case of illness, by a medical certificate. These letters and medical certificates, with a covering letter are separate from those intended to justify absence from college at other times. No prizes are awarded to any student who has missed a college examination for any reason.
-
Although illness or other serious circumstances may be considered valid reasons for absence from lectures, tests, Tutorials, examinations etc., there remain no evidence of a satisfactory knowledge of the courses concerned. Failures to submit assignments, unjustified absence from tests etc. seriously prejudice a student's academic record. If, after a warning, a student persistently continues not to conform to college requirements, he/she can be asked to discontinue the course.
-
The college reserves the right to require the withdrawal of any student whose academic work falls below its standards. Failure on the part of a student to observe rules and regulations regarding teaching practice may also result in the student being asked to discontinue his/her studies in the college.
-
Students leaving the city for any of the holiday periods are expected to make their arrangements according to the college calendar.
